About

Carson Ross Cummings was pursuing his life's passion for filmmaking in Los Angeles when on January 8, 2012, he was involved in a tragic pedestrian-vehicle accident. All who knew Carson remember him as brilliantly creative, unquestionably intelligent and painfully hilarious. The Carson Cummings Foundation was created to carry on Carson’s legacy and to perpetuate the joy his life brought to so many friends and family.

The foundation gives to numerous charitable organizations each year, including the Texas Organ Sharing Alliance, Luke Hope for Minds, and Carrying Hope. Additionally, the foundation has also previously given scholarships to local Austin area students interested in pursuing film degrees.
